DIGITAL MEDIA STRATEGIST, CSAIL Alliances, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL), to play a key role on the Alliances (https://cap.csail.mit.edu/) team. Responsibilities include contributing to outbound marketing and communication strategy to deepen/broaden relationships with member companies, prospects, and the public; maintaining communications and quarterly research briefings, designing and creating original content for various constituents; building relationships across MIT; developing and maintaining Alliances program websites; serving as liaison for new site development and ongoing site management; and developing print/digital marketing materials. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; three years’ experience with marketing, social media management, and developing and managing website content using a content management system (CMS); excellent writing, editorial, content development, proofreading, fact-checking, analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, the internet, Constant Contact, HTML, social media networking (e.g., YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn), wikis, and Hootsuite or Trello; discretion with sensitive/confidential information; proactive and flexible approach to workload; and attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to copyedit written work for grammar, spelling, accuracy, format, and tone; accept and integrate feedback; track changes and check the consistency of written materials; keep content and review schedules to ensure website and marketing materials are kept updated; work independently and collaborate across all levels; and prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing demands and deliver high-quality results under pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and team-oriented environment. PREFERRED: degree in marketing, communications, English, or public relations; writing and digital marketing experience; interest in computer science and artificial intelligence; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Drupal or other content management systems; and Pardot, Google Analytics, and Salesforce proficiency.
