Senior Content Developer for Windows Developer Documentation Team
The Windows Developer Documentation team is looking for a Senior Content Developer to help us inform and educate Windows application developers about all the cool stuff we’re working on. We are hoping to find that special someone who can combine writing skills with coding abilities.

This position is remote-friendly.
You will take ownership of specific areas of Windows SDKs and Windows 11 technologies. This will involve working with feature teams to research, document and publish API reference and samples, as well as responding to bugs that our readers have filed.
You’ll work with multiple groups to find ways to improve our processes and grow our influence with teams and communities.
You will use a GitHub-based system to create content written in Markdown, using various in-house tools.
3+ years experience writing for a technical audience.
3+ years programming experience.
3+ years experience with planning and organizing projects, tracking work, estimating resources, and providing regular reports.
You will have a proven ability to explain programming concepts clearly and concisely – please provide samples of your writing (for example: technical documentation, blogs and articles).
You will have the necessary coding skills to write and understand example code.

A passion for trying out new ideas – combined with the willingness to test and measure how successful those ideas will be.
A strong problem-solving attitude, an interest in the arts of both writing and programming, and a desire to increase skills in these areas (and more).
Experience writing apps for Windows in C# or C++ Experience with Git
Participation in a developer community (for example, StackOverflow or GitHub presence)
