ASSISTANT TO TLO SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM, Office of Strategic Alliances and Technology Transfer (OSATT)-Technology Licensing Office (TLO), provide complex and diverse administrative support to the TLO director and the TLO senior management team (SMT). Will manage the director’s active schedule, including meetings with high-level administrators, external stakeholders, and direct reports and arranging national and international travel; serve as primary TLO administrative liaison with senior Institute leadership and respond to inquiries on behalf of the director; act as a resource to staff for general questions about TLO activities, processes, policies, and practices; provide scheduling and administrative or project support as requested for other SMT members; work with the operations team and assist in establishing onboarding and other training opportunities for new staff; undertake special projects and attend TLO related meetings; and perform related duties as requested or on behalf of the senior management team.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years’ direct/related experience in a professional administrative support position; high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and managing complex schedules through MS Outlook; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail; willingness to take on new projects and self-identify the need for new skills; and flexibility, openness to change, and accountability. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects; work both independently and in a team setting; anticipate and initiate actions and ensure follow-through; and undertake basic data gathering activities and disseminate results through basic written reports.
