Schrödinger Account Manager, Strategic in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Schrödinger, a leader in computational chemistry software and services for customers in the preclinical drug discovery space andis seeking an ambitious, highly driven, and goal-oriented an Account Manager to work on the Strategic Account team.

As a member of the Sales team, you’ll identify, qualify, and develop new software and services business within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Your customer base will include scientists and senior pharma/biotech leaders. Additionally, you’ll interact closely with Schrödinger’s applications scientists, product managers, members of the senior management team, and other account managers.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans for all allocated accounts

  • Manage all team engagements with assigned accounts to ensure objectives are met

  • Develop and maintain exceptional account relationships through effective communication, education, reporting, and problem-solving

  • Provide feedback from clients to internal Product Managers and the Support teams

  • Collect and communicate market trends to Schrödinger sales/product management

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science is required

  • At least two years sales experience in the drug discovery software or enterprise solution space

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites in the US (approximately 25% of the time)

Estimated base salary range: $90,000 - $150,000 with a 25% bonus. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
