A Water Treatment Plant Operators are needed for a leading utility in Cape Cod, MA. The Water Treatment Plant Operators will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of water and wastewater treatment plants. Duties will include monitoring equipment, conducting tests, and ensuring compliance with regulations to maintain optimal plant performance.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Grade 4 level operator's license. In addition, some proficiency with a SCADA system is desired. This is a 7-3:30 role, Monday through Friday, with potentially weekend work. This is a contract position with a distinct possibility of becoming full-time. Our client is only seeking local talent at this time.

responsibilities:

• Conduct treatment plant rounds, inspecting and monitoring processes

• Operate and adjust plant equipment to maintain proper operations

• Maintain and update operations logs and reports

• Perform water quality laboratory tests and monitor results

• Monitor water system inventory using the local SCADA system

• Dispatch SCADA system alarms to on-call personnel
