Join the team at KDP and make a difference to consumers with one of America’s leading producers and distributors of hot and cold beverages helping to satisfy every consumer’s beverage need, anytime and anywhere.The Senior Consumer Insights Manager for Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) is responsible for ensuring the voice of the consumer is heard in all business decisions. This role is expected to bring the consumer perspective to marketing decision making around innovation, brand strategy, positioning, consumer communication, and targeting. This person will report directly to the Director of Consumer Insights and be responsible for leading the development of insights and trends on the business and understanding the consumer, marketplace and portfolio impact of our launches. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Owning the holistic Dr Pepper insights agenda, as well as the execution of learning plans and recommendation of strategic implications

  • Providing thought leadership and co-leading teams in complex strategic discussions and project

  • Integrating multiple tools and techniques to design, implement and manage complex/ strategic research

  • Identifying growth opportunities with our CSD consumer segments and leading size of prize analyses by generational cohort within each segment

  • Synthesizing the strategic applications of macro and category trends, competitive intelligence and primary research to inform both category and brand-specific actions

    The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of progressive consumer market research experience and a leadership style that fuses inspiration with a passion for making a difference. Key Responsibilities

    Build a Sustainable Growth Strategy

  • Support the Brand and Innovation teams in the development of long term product and brand strategy and annual brand marketing plans including business objectives, consumer and channel strategies, and translation of strategies to the consumer through all elements of the marketing mix.

    Deliver Consumer Insights That Drive Action

  • Own consumer insight development and deliverables to ensure insights are translated into actionable marketing plans. Translate and communicate brand's unique selling propositions to key stakeholders - consumers, customers, and cross-functional partners including senior management.

    Innovate to Address Consumer Needs

  • Lead the development and implementation of new Insight tools to elevate and amplify the value of Consumer research and consumer needs, by exploring new approaches to methodologies, analyses, reporting while managing within budget constraints.

    Drive Customer Engagement Through Innovation, Communication Strategy & Messaging

  • Leverage strong storytelling skills to develop impactful reporting and output to influence key stakeholders and ultimately drive action across our brands and categories.

  • Help the Brand Marketing, Innovation and Commercial teams to develop consumer-centric innovation and build compelling selling stories that leverage our brand equities and inform category dynamics.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA from an accredited institution, major in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology or related field.

  • 7+ years of consumer market research experience, to include study design, management and application of various types of market research with 3+ years of CPG experience.

  • 10-15% travel may be required based on business needs.
