Robert Half Project Accountant Coordinator in Burlington, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant Coordinator in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves administering new projects and managing financial aspects of the project life-cycle within the industry. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and familiarity with accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Administer new projects and ensure all necessary documents and procedures are accurately completed.

• Utilize the NetSuite system to manage project set up, including billing schedules, job cost entry, and cost to complete estimations.

• Regularly monitor projected client payments and project consultant invoicing, taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Keep track of change orders and payments by project management teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of billing and generate financial reports as requested.

• Support payroll operations by obtaining weekly payroll information by project as needed.

• Perform basic accounting tasks and job costing tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

• Enter vendor invoicing in Concur to support the cost on all jobs.

• Manage proposal signatures between teams and consultants using DocuSign.

• Use accounting skills such as Account Coding, Accounting Software Systems, and Auditing to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Coding

• Proficient in NetSuite

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with AMSI and AppFolio

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

• Experience in Auditing

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus
