Oracle Principal Product Manager, Analytics Apps for HCM in Burlington, Massachusetts

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to oversee the development of HCM Analytic Applications offerings.This exciting role requires an experienced, driven individual with both business and technical acumen, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for product management.This is a unique opportunity to influence Oracle's HR Analytics Product and define the future of HR Analytics industry.

Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) is a suite of comprehensive, packaged, Oracle-managed analytics solutions, which extract data from Oracle’s industry-leading SaaS applications, including Oracle Fusion HCM, transform and load data into Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and surface the data to business users through Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Turnkey SaaS analytic applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, but that is just the beginning. In addition to Fusion Analytics’ packaged and Oracle managed data pipeline, ADW schemas, OAC semantic model and dashboards/KPIs, customers can extend the application with their own data, models and analytics.

As a member of the product management team, you will work with customers, partners, internal teams to make this happen. You will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions. Work with design and development teams to implement moderate changes to existing software. Build new products and solutions. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate significant changes to functionality.

Work could be non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of product development, consulting, or related experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Oracle Cloud HCM customers to understand their needs and expectations. Run customer focus groups.

  • Capture detailed product requirements and define the roadmap for the offering to maximize customer adoption and customer value

  • Present the strategy and roadmap to senior management and obtain buy-in

  • Work with and influence various development teams and stakeholders to ensure the product is developed and delivered as planned

  • Partner with other Oracle Cloud HCM other Oracle groups to shape the Fusion Analytics Warehouse product roadmap

  • Work with the Analytics and Oracle SaaS marketing teams to facilitate decisions around product launch, product positioning and gain insights on competitive landscape.

  • Participate in marketing events with responsibility for managing the agenda including customer demos, customer meetings and product management led sessions.

  • Provide release documentation for any new features/functions released during the quarterly releases.

Skills and Experiences Required

  • Rich understanding of HCM especially for Oracle HCM and is eager to build HR analytics & people Analytics solutions for HR and Business leaders to guide their business.

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral

  • 8 years’ experience in business analysis and requirement assessment.

  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Oracle Analytic Cloud (OAC), Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus

  • Experience with analytic cloud offerings including Salesforce, Workday, Domo or SAP is a highly desirable

  • Hands on application experience with HCM highly desired

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
