Robert Half Patent Paralegal in Burlington, Massachusetts

Description We are searching for a Patent Paralegal to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, involving various responsibilities related to intellectual property management and legal assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the organization and management of the docket report

• Redistribute filings and requests to appropriate resources

• Trigger IDS’s and identify inefficiencies in reporting structure

• Handle daily time entry into the internal billing system, Tabs3

• Utilize various software including AppColl, Black Hills IP Renewals, SmartSheet, SyncIDS, Tabs3, USPTO and WIPO efiling systems, and Microsoft products

• Communicate effectively and organize tasks and assignments efficiently

• Process USPTO filings and searches, as well as World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) related tasks

• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow while managing various case management software and systems

• Ensure clear and responsive communication across all platforms, including email and Zoom

• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), CompuLaw, and other related software and systems. Requirements • Proficient in Aderant

• Skilled in Adobe Acrobat

• Knowledge of Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Experience with Case Management Software

• Proficient in CompuLaw

• Familiar with Billing Functions

• Able to conduct Briefings

• Skilled in Calendar Management

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Excellent Communication skills

• Knowledge of Tabs3

• Experience in Docketing

• Proficient in IDS

• Familiar with USPTO Filings

• Ability to perform USPTO Searches

• Knowledge of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) processes and procedures

• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in patent law

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Excellent research and analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients professionally

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Ability to handle high volume of work and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
