Groups: Recover Together Director of Partner Success in Burlington, Massachusetts

Groups is a rapidly growing, mission-driven healthcare company that provides affordable, evidence-based treatment for opiate addiction. Our model uses two of the most powerful tools for recovery: group therapy and medication-assisted treatment with buprenorphine. At Groups, the Director of Partner Success will be responsible for managing the ongoing relationships with our contracted payer partners. The position will collaborate across the growth, finance and operating teams to manage relationship transitions, contract implementation, defining the data requirements, and setting the cadence and content for ongoing engagement with our partners. This position will help create and execute on the playbook that defines our account management strategy and fosters our role as a trusted advisor with insight into this complex cohort of the payer’s membership.

  • Establish and nurture senior leadership and other relationships across key payer accounts to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer while expanding and deepening the business relationship.

  • Develop a deep knowledge of our partner’s business, understanding key business issues and opportunities, and mapping our capabilities against the plans goals and needs to deliver on our value proposition and achieving mutual defined success.

  • Work with contract management to operationalize contracts across growth, finance and operational teams

  • Assess and validate our understanding of the requirements of a partner success program against the needs and perspective of our payer

  • Contribute to and execute on partner success lifecycle - including people, tools, repeatable processes/methodologies, and best practices which ensures the team can scale and deliver a consistent and valued customer experience.

  • Own relationship management with partners including payer calls, presentations, kick-off calls, quarterly reporting, regular correspondence, marketing campaign and partner action items.

  • Work closely with finance to determine key partner metrics, reporting schedule, ancillary service metrics and census numbers. Understand each payer partners contract commitments with regards to reporting and payer partners key initiatives for their members.

  • Work closely with the payer sales organization to synchronize with growth plans to ensure the Partner Success organization scales in line with expansion and aligns in partner goals.

  • Build relationships across the organization, including sales, regional services, and leadership to become an integral part of a cross-functional team.

  • Work closely with Contract management, Revenue Cycle Management and Operations to ensure compliance with contracts and overall success with payer partners.

  • Stay abreast of market conditions, industry best practices and customer needs.

  • Create evangelists by listening to customers closely and delighting them with our user experience and service.

  • Provide thought leadership opportunities to achieve the highest level of partner advocacy.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Experience in managing payer relationships

  • Ability to create and manage complex operational projects including launches

  • Ability to analyze data, develop insights and produce reports digestible for all levels

  • Ability to collaborate across the organization to accomplish goals

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities (financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis experience preferred);

  • Demonstrable experience in product launch and lifecycle management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM collaboration tools such as Slack and Salesforce.

Educational Requirements & Experience

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • BS/BA and master’s level equivalent required,

  • 10-15 years of healthcare industry experience, including client facing, account management related experience,

  • Proven track record of success in positions with Payer and or healthcare services organizations,

  • Leadership experience
