XRHealth Operations Coordinator in Brookline, Massachusetts
Under supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, the customer support specialist will be responsible for all supporting the day-to-day functionality of our outpatient virtual clinic. This person is expected to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
The work is in a fast-paced, high growth start up company.
Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
Verification of patient information:
Making sure enrollments forms are complete
Collect patients’ insurance information and document in EHR
Educate the patient about the patient journey and next steps, including guidance on the company’s product and it’s components.
Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email.
Maintain communication with the clinicians
Follow up with patients who did not show up to their appointments
Making sure all patients are scheduled for follow ups appointments.
Fax Plan of Care to the referring physician and follow up on receiving it back.
Confirm appointments 24 hours prior via phone call.
Answer all telephone calls and patient inquiries for the clinic in customer service oriented, professional manner and direct as appropriate, taking detailed and accurate messages when necessary.
Maintain clinician schedule- Schedule all available appointment slots accurately and in accordance with established clinic-specific guidelines
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Highly organized and attentive to details.
Can work well individually but in a team as well
Adjust easily to changes
1+ years of experience in customer facing role, healthcare experience a plus.
Knowledge of health insurance terms and regulations a plus
Comfortable with technology and new applications
