Massachusetts MENTOR, a partner of The MENTOR Network, provides quality, community-based services to youth and adults. Through our programs we offer a wide range of individualized therapeutic programs; Therapeutic Foster Care and Behavioral Health Services, to serve youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges as well as their families.
Teaching Assistant:JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the Early Intervention toddler groups!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Consult with clinical EI staff in preparation and maintaining of client groups Assist with the maintenance of client records Document and maintain forms as required Co-lead groups with Early Intervention standards according to program needs and design (both child and parent focused.) Assist EI staff in the development of group curricula for assigned groups. Attend meetings as required Participate in trainings as required Coordinate transportation for assigned children and/or parents as required Pick-up, provide, discharge and monitor children and parents according to transportation standards as applicableReplenish and maintain early childhood inventory as necessaryOvertime may be required Qualifications: Full-time 2 years of relevant work experience in related field; valid satisfactory CORI check, MMR, current physical, CPR and First Aid Certification and a negative TB test required. Drug test required if position requires driving. PC literacy and experience with MS Office Application
