Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) Program Assistant Protective Svc/ Admin in Brockton, Massachusetts
Program Assistant Protective Services/Administrative Support OCES supports elders and individuals with disabilities by providing information and coordination of services promoting healthy, safe lives for our consumers. We want to help them stay as active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities. OCES is looking for a Program Assistant to provide administrative support to our Protective Service Department. The PS Department investigates alleged abuse and neglect with follow up interventions. What you\'ll do: * Assist with Money Management Program, part of Protective Services, reviewing MMP records to ensure requirements are met * Send out volunteer surveys * Assist with scanning documents into system * Assist with printing, copying, and sending out notices for record requests for Department *Send out Protective Services follow-up letters to reporters * Prepare and distribute monthly coverage calendars, agendas, and minutes for various Department meetings * Forward record information requests to police department, District Attorney Reports, doctors\' offices, etc. as needed What you\'ll bring: * Your desire to make a difference * Associates Degree preferred * Minimum one year of relevant experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent computer skills * Ability to respect the workplace and providers privacy and confidentiality * Ability to deal effectively with statistical and financial data * Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software * Must have personal computer with secured internet access at home What you\'ll get: * Ability to work with an enthusiastic team of like-minded individuals * Opportunity to develop professionally in your chosen career * Great work/life balance: 35-hour work week with some flexibility.
