Brockton Hospital Nurse Practitioner in Brockton, Massachusetts
Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will consult on behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department, start and/or adjust psychiatric medications, address non-emergent medical needs, assist with disposition planning, and work collaboratively with clinicians/social workers, and the chief of psychiatry.
Requirements:
Master's level (MSN), adult health nurse practitioner license and ANNC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) certification required.
Must be prescriptive eligible with 2 years’ prior experience required.
Must maintain current certification in basic cardiac life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.
Founded as Brockton Hospital in 1896, the Hospital is the oldest and largest inpatient facility in its service area. We are a community-based non-profit teaching hospital, providing a full range of clinical services. We maintain a major teaching affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
