Brockton Hospital Medical Office RN in Brockton, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of a physician, Practice Manager and/or Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assisting the healthcare team with the care and management of patients during their visit. The RN will perform professional administrative and clinical duties including but not limited to assessment, care, treatment, documentation, education and medication administration to maintain and support the office and to assure efficient patient flow through the office. The RN will also assist the physician or other clinical staff with procedures, treatments, specimen collection and communication to patients.

This is a full-time 40 hour/ week position

    Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical/Other:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school for professional nursing.

  • Experience (Type & Length) : One year medical office nurse experience is preferred.

  • Certification/Licensure: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse. Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers completion for healthcare workers (with AED) required.

  • Software/Hardware: Meditech, Microsoft Office experience preferred.
