Full-time Available Candidate should be an enthusiastic team player & reliable Comprehensive benefits & competitive salary Great work/life balance JOB DESCRIPTION A skillful cook who can plan, prepare, & cook food items to ensure the highest quality service & experience for residents. Help keep the kitchen clean, organized, & running efficiently. Furthermore, other duties include ensuring proper food handling & sanitation & following food storage procedures. Overall, the cook is responsible for keeping the residents healthy & nourished. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a kitchen A certificate or associate degree from a community college in culinary arts, cooking A food handling certificate from your state & knowledge of geriatric diets Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, & bakeware Knowledge of various cooking procedures & methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Capacity to work in a team
