Summary :

Accurately and efficiently pick products and prepare orders for shipment, observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient product flow through the production process. Works independently and communicates well with other departments (verbally/written/computer) to move work through the system in an organized fashion. Works independently within a team communicates well with other departments and organizations, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Major Functional Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack products according to established standards using a picking headset.

• Run scanning equipment.

• Pack orders according to the customer’s requirement and/or the provided specifications.

• Meet established productivity standards and quality standards.

• Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.

• Self-identifies mistakes, identifies problems and recommends solutions, provides candid and timely feedback to all levels in the organization, involves others in problem-solving when needed, and sees all responsibilities through to a successful completion.

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Pick and fill orders from stock

· Pack and ship orders

· Build boxes and carts

· Assist in other departments as requested by the supervisor

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma

· 1 year of experience

Great focus and attention to detail

· Ability to stand for long periods at a time

· Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.

· Able to work both independently and within a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to see, speak, hear, write, and understand English

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience

Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position

Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift

Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift

Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
