Classification: Exempt Reports to: Director, Human Resources

  • This role is 100% on-site, 5 days per week in our Braintree, MA office

Job Purpose

  • · The Human Resource Generalist/TA (HRG) primary responsibilities focus on but are not limited to Talent Acquisition.

Essential Functions

  • Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing recruiting metric.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, requirements and develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract talent.

  • Proactively and creatively seek optimal candidates to fill positions, forming partnerships with schools and organizations as needed to fill the candidate pipeline.

  • Sources candidates via Applicant Tracking system and actively recruits via Indeed, LinkedIn and other resources and job boards.

  • Improves organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.

  • With HR Director, work to maintain and understanding of competitive compensation and internal equity across departments, positions and the organization.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions in line with federal and state guidelines.

  • Drive and own the full cycle recruiting process for all positions.

  • Candidate centric mindset ensuring that all candidates have positive experience throughout the interview process.

  • Post jobs with various job boards, social media platforms, professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  • Source candidates online and offline, review resumes and screen out applicants.

  • Schedule and conduct phone screens. Schedule and manage the coordination of all in-person interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.

  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules and escorting applicants to interviews.

  • Organize post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates.

  • Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process.

  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates during the recruiting process to ensure a positive experience, as well as disposition candidates that have been passed on.

  • Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers.

  • Organize and execute HR events (job fairs, career days, in-house recruitment events).

  • Analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and source of hire, and others as needed and requested to track and improve processes.

  • Assist with the implementation and administration of the Applicant Tracking System

  • Facilitate and support timely outreach to new hires to ensure completion of necessary pre-employment documentation and processes. and collection and organization, upkeep of new hire documents and uploading them into an electronic filing system.

  • Assist as needed with recording, maintenance, and reporting CORI (criminal background check) results, ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines for onboarding requirements (CORI, SORI, OIG, Licensure, CPR, etc.).

  • Ensuring compliance with all recruitment and onboarding processes and always maintaining confidentiality.

  • Support HR Team with management of employee records with confidentiality, proactively auditing and updating the HRIS (Paylocity / Insperity) with current information to ensure data integrity and cleanliness.

  • Complete routine compliance and outreach, for all positions requiring documentation, licensure and certification, tracking and communicating to employees and Leaders as needed.

  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.

  • Assist with and contribute to updating of Employee Handbook as needed.

  • Foster culture of customer service and commitment to quality care.

  • Plan, develop, organize and implement various HR programs and projects on an as needed basis to support the growth of the organization and its employees.

Physical and Environmental Demands

Works in a clean well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures in close proximity to others.

Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment

Education, Experience and Licensure Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Experience in health care required.

  • 3+ years' experience in a human resources generalist role preferred, people operations, general knowledge of benefits administration, compensation, talent acquisition, or related role.

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures and employment law

  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Suite and Google Suite

  • Experience with Paylocity and/or BreezyHR preferred.

  • Experience delivering against ambitious targets, in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.

  • Desire to work as a team with a “results driven” approach.

  • Strong time management and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
