Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, responsibilities include planning and coordinating all planned maintenance activities performed at the site, generating corrective maintenance work orders, coordinating with the Maintenance Manager and maintenance technicians on the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance work orders, and ensuring that Good Documentation Practices (GDP) are being followed.
Some primary job duties may include but are not limited to:
Create PMs - communicate due dates to appropriate personnel and schedule planning and execution of work.
Ensure proper SOP forms are attached to PM work orders.
Hand out Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual PMs to mechanics with appropriate time to allow work to be completed.
Hand out Weekly and Bi-Weekly PMs to technicians.
Hand out Daily PMs.
Maintain a spreadsheet that encompasses preventive maintenance work orders spanning 1-year and communicate to mechanics, engineers, and managers when work orders are coming due.
Use CMMS to manage work orders.
Distribute completed PMs for approvals.
File approved PMs.
Create CM work orders/update CM spreadsheet/issue/close/file CM work orders.
Create Purchase Requisitions in Oracle for maintenance parts/supplies.
Update PM procedures per doc control updates.
Create new Asset/PM schedules per document update.
Assist in scheduling and planning breaches to conduct maintenance.
Management review quality slides for PM/CM.
Quality Forum quality slides for PM/CM.
Initiate nonconformances when discrepancies are found
Assist in the planning of shutdowns
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Bachelor degree with 3+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience
maintenance planning preferably in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries.
Formal maintenance planner training preferred.
Knowledge of operation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance work order issuance and scheduling.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ability to use a quality mindset when reviewing work orders and other documents.
Knowledge on personal computer and business software like Outlook, MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision
