Adecco is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler with strong shipping experience to join a team in Boxborough, MA.

Position Overview:

The Material Handler will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that shipping processes are executed accurately and timely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping logistics, inventory management, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials and products from trucks and pallets.

• Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials in stock.

• Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

• Assist in training new team members on shipping procedures and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, preferably with a focus on shipping.

• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, including documentation and compliance.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.

• Valid forklift certification preferred.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
