The Shipping/Receiving Associate will support domestic and international shipments and receipts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials to production. Key responsibilities include overseeing material flow from receipt to designated production areas, completing all necessary transactions, and adhering to documented procedures for system preparation before shipment.

This role is crucial within our organization, collaborating closely with our Buyers, Quality Control, and Production Teams to guarantee the punctuality and accuracy of shipments, receipts, and materials delivered to designated locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute within a team-oriented environment focused on optimizing material flow effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

In addition to those specified below, additional duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure timely and accurate packaging and shipping of high-quality products to meet customer deadlines.

  • Understand and comply with all international export regulations.

  • Immediately notify the Quality Department of any received damaged products.

  • Transport materials to production cells, point-of-use locations, and replenish bins as needed.

  • Prioritize and expedite all urgent receipts to the production floor.

  • Maintain high standards of quality when handling all materials.

  • Verify part numbers and quantities upon receipt against packing slips.

  • Record shipment dates in the serial number database, ensuring accuracy.

  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and uphold a safe working environment.

  • Participate actively in daily management discussions on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, contributing to problem-solving and corrective actions as required.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ Years in a shipping/receiving role

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Word).

  • Basic knowledge of MRP system and material flow, Oracle experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to write well and communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Prior experience with shipping internationally and domestically.

  • Working knowledge of U.S compliance laws for all international export shipments.

  • Understanding of all essential documents needed for international exports (SED, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of origin, etc.).

  • UPS Ship Manager and FedEx World Ship experience desired.

  • Participate in daily management pertaining to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost; assist with countermeasures and corrective actions when goals are not met.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30PM

Pay: $20/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
