About this position
Alyce is looking for a results-oriented and strategic VP of Product who will develop, lead and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap. In this role you’ll grow, mentor, and manage a team of product managers & product designers, work in lockstep with internal stakeholders including our Engineering, Customer Success and Sales teams, as well as external stakeholders such as partners and customers. You’ll report to the COO and serve as part of the company’s senior leadership team.

Evaluate the market, determine priorities and organize strategic planning to drive the product management processes and roadmaps in order to continue Alyce as a leader in the B2B Gifting space.
Launch new functionalities and features that excite our customers - whether it’s small quality of life improvements or major features. We’re extremely customer-centric, and we want someone who’s excited to help make our customers’ day-to-day lives easier!
Drive Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs alongside Customer Success, and ensure the incorporation of customer needs into all product management plans.
Collaborate in partnership with other functions on sales enablement, competitive analysis, and GTM programs, analysis of product usage & business data, customer experience processes, end-user research, usability prioritization, business metrics & modeling, partnerships, and long-term market expansion strategies
Apply a combination of judgment and data to refine product strategy, positioning, and roadmap to achieve Alyce’s long-term vision & growth via realistic product & market goals, use cases, segmentation, and business modeling
Work with Product Marketing and GTM to drive business models and sales strategies which include well-constructed pricing models and packaged offerings.
Partner closely with Product Marketing and the broader marketing team while aligning with Sales leadership to ensure we’re targeting the appropriate customers and markets.
Work directly with the Engineering to align and drive product development activities.
Serve as the leading liaison between the product development function and its stakeholders including the executive team to ensure proper internal alignment and efficiency and providing a bridge between business/corporate strategy and the product visioning and strategy processes
Create and present visionary innovations, strategic decision proposals, as well as the calculation of business cases.
Define and monitor relevant company KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set for the Product organization.
You bring a broad and deep understanding of the metrics that drive the business and use that understanding to guide the product strategy. You create a data-centric product culture that understands how to translate test results and product insights into an understanding of the levers that drive the business and you use that understanding to build impactful products.
Lead and mentor the PM/Design organization with the goal of enabling them to successfully deliver on their product areas, provide thought leadership to help them when facing challenges, and invest in their continuous improvement and career growth.
Serve as an active, vocal member of the Senior Leadership Team, representing the needs and voice of both the Product Management and Design functions.
How you will uplevel Alyce:
10+ years of experience in Product Management in a SaaS company
5+ years of experience in Product leadership at a growth stage ($10-50M) startup
A foundational background as an Engineer or Developer is a huge plus
You must have prior domain experience or a strong passion for the Marketing Tech or SalesTech domain.
Ability to translate market and technology trends, competitive intelligence and cross-functional input into actionable and innovative roadmap initiatives that improve customer, partner, and Alyce’s employee experience
Demonstrated success bringing new products to market, meeting/exceeding business cases, capturing market share and delivering market leading products/services.
Demonstrated ability to gain an understanding of customer problems in highly ambiguous product areas and the ability to communicate the vision and roadmap to a variety of audiences internally and externally.
Excitement for formal product techniques, frameworks, and analytical methods, specifically AGILE methodology and the Jobs-to-be-Done Framework..
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams to drive delivery of product capabilities across all aspects of the organization
You have a strong bias for action and have a flexible operating range meaning you can easily adapt from high level product strategy to digging deep in any specific problem to push the business forward
You’re a collaborator at heart with a strong belief that it takes multiple points of feedback and perspective to develop the right strategy
