Transportation Electrification Analyst

Preferred Location: Nationwide Remote - preference for candidates in VA, DC, MD, NY, or MA

ICF is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to support clients and projects as part of our Transportation Electrification Team. As an Analyst, you will work with cross functional teams researching, designing, and implementing transportation electrification programs on behalf of ICF clients.

Transportation electrification programs support increased use of electric vehicles in passenger and fleet applications and the installation of electric vehicle chargers. ICF designs and implements programs that may include incentives, technical assistance, time-based rates, and other strategies. You will directly contribute to helping utilities and their customers electrify, decarbonize, and reduce emissions.

What you will be doing:

  • Support operations for transportation electrification programs through research, market assessments, and project administration.

  • Build and maintain transportation and energy industry knowledge and contribute subject matter expertise to transportation electrification programs and projects.

  • Engage with trade allies and other industry representatives.

  • Support market trend research, analysis, and reporting.

  • Performing basic data scrubbing, analysis, and interpretation.

  • Work with program leads to identify areas to automate and/or improve process flows and increase efficiency.

  • Develop and update client reports and documents.

  • Conduct desktop review quality assurance/quality control of internal, external, and client materials.

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, energy resources, business, public policy, or a similar discipline (applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)

  • 2+ years professional experience in program/operations support, client engagement, data analysis and/or related experience

What we would like you to have:

  • Knowledge of or experience in the transportation electrification or energy industry

  • Experience writing reports, articles, literature reviews, case studies, or other communications materials

  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$57,737.00 - $98,153.00
