Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

  • Planning and management for the Entire Commercial BI Implementation from an IT perspective.

    Deliverables

    • Low Level Program Project plan for Every Quarterly release.
  • Compass – Data warehouse to reporting

  • Powerlytics – Datawarehouse to Semantic layer L2

  • Upkeep of Entire SDLC Documents (Starting from Project initiation to Closure)

    Stakeholders

  • Done mainly in consultation, Development team and other business analysts

  • Summary shared by the manager with all Functional and Business Leads.

  • Manager is careful with the documents as they are audited by the Quality Team

  • Business Analyst:

  • Discovery and Requirement gathering for Compass (Data warehouse to reporting)

  • Meetings

  • Update FRDs (Datawarehouse and Semantic)

  • Requirement clarification and working with development teams

  • Discovery and Requirement gathering for new system integrations (Data warehouse to Semantic Layer)

  • Meetings

  • Update FRDs

  • Requirement clarification and working with development teams

  • Ad hoc Extracts for Business Leads.

    Knowledge Required

  • Pharma Industry

  • Data warehousing

  • Client’s Datawarehouse, Datamart and Semantic layer.

  • Good Presentation Skills – Represent client’s IT in meetings with Business Leads.

  • Test Lead

  • Define Test Strategy

  • Define Test Scripts

  • Conduct End to end System testing of Applications – with test logs (Primarily responsible for Compass but other applications are also in scope as and when requested by client)

  • This requires replicating the same business rules (In SQL) that are utilized in compass and recreate data for testing.

    Knowledge Required

  • Pharma Sales and Marketing

  • Data warehousing

  • SQL – high proficiency

  • Client’s Datawarehouse, Datamart and Semantic layer, Compass Reporting application.

    Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years business analyst experience.

  • Working knowledge of business processes, system development and process improvements.

  • Proficient in SQL, SAS, R, Python or equivalent

  • Understanding of cloud-based technology capabilities and limitations.

  • Familiarity with KPIs for pharma sales and marketing

  • Experience with Pharma commercial data like Sales, Claims, Payers, Specialty pharmacy

  • Understanding of Pharma commercial operations concepts like alignments, targeting, reporting, incentives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
