A career within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You’ll be engaged in projects dealing with International tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.

JD/LLM opportunities are for the following areas:
SALT: The State and Local Tax specialty practice provides a unique blend of consulting across a broad spectrum of tax areas, including asset management/alternative investment vehicles, income/franchise tax planning, dispute and controversy resolution, sales and use tax, employment taxes, identification of credits and incentives, and abandoned and unclaimed property. Working collaboratively with the other tax lines of service on the largest and most prestigious clients of the Firm, opportunities exist to help these clients manage their state and local tax burdens by providing solutions and identifying appropriate tax treatment that is consistent with best business practices and states’ applicable tax laws and rules.
Real Estate: Advise clients on their federal, local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to: deals and transactions (including mergers, acquisitions and investments, conversions, reorganizations, dispositions, joint ventures, fund formation and structuring, etc.). A career within Real Estate tax will provide you with exposure to partnership tax, corporate tax, state and local tax, US inbound and outbound international tax, tax treaty analysis, REIT taxation, and other areas.
ITS: A career within International Tax Services will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC address their cross border tax needs both locally and globally by managing their global tax rates, finding areas of cost reduction, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. You’ll gain a global perspective and an awareness of tax issues stemming from changes to evolving business structures and geographic expansions. Our International Tax Services Generalist - Practice Support team advises PwC Client Services team advises clients on tax laws and reporting, legislation and planning strategies based on the geography and jurisdiction. You’ll be assisting our team with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs.
M&A: A career in our Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.Our team helps our clients with various aspects of a merger and acquisition transactions such as restructuring, divestiture, partnerships and insolvency. You’ll focus on helping clients establish treasury goals, analyse and quantify tax assets, assess tax risks, and model taxable income and cash flow impacts.

The salary range for this position is: $28.00 - $44.75. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
