Job Description:
System engineers will work with a team of 1-5 engineers and collaborate with an on-site project manager to provide technical oversight on the installation of both third party and Client designed robotics equipment. These deployments require extensive collaboration with varies stakeholders, including third-party installers, contracted engineers, construction, hardware, software, IT, and other partner teams. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with both internal and external partners and customers. As an employee the candidate must demonstrate independent initiative to identify and solve problems in real time during deployments. They will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to avoid recurrences.
Systems engineers will be deploying the robotic systems in various phases of a product life cycle. When supporting new products, the candidate is required to lead the development of process documentation and modifying the existing processes. Strong technical understanding, love for field work, and a keen interest in diving deep into the understanding of Client's robotics systems are key attributes for this role. As an employe, the ability to recognize process gaps and take ownership in developing solutions are important. This position requires 75% travel. Valid US drivers" license required.
