Ford Motor Company System Designer IVI in Boston, Massachusetts

A portfolio submission in addition to a resume is required for consideration.

Core responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Design System Library Components, Libraries, Patterns

• Understanding of Atomic Design Principles

• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies

• Proficient in Human-centered design

• Socialize a design system across internal organizations

• Create unified, cohesive set of UX and visual guidelines for in-vehicle and mobile products

• Create design system for Digital Product Designer to utilize to design and develop experiences

• Partner and collaborate with Product Designers, Software Engineers and Product Manager

• Care about creating inclusive and accessible products

• Part of a team that ensures design quality across all facets of UI, illustration, motion etc

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ Years working in UI/UX field

• 2+ Years working on design systems

• Experience designing for multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, etc)

• Highly Proficient with current design tools (Figma)

• Proficient with current prototyping tools (Protopie)

• Full range of interaction, visual, and prototyping skills

• Excellent presentation and documentation skills

• Excellence in visual design

• Record of leading projects to successful outcomes for users and business

• Able to precisely articulate design rationale and present to stakeholders
