DUTIES: General Statement of Job: Perform cleaning, opening, closing, and maintenance of commercial swimming pools Summary of Essential Job Functions: 1. Remove debris from pool & deck area, haul to waste facility 2. Inspect loose or damaged tiles 3. Perform small repairs on the swimming pool, auxiliary equipment & deck area 4. Fill water line of pool, check the pool for leaks & turn on a filter system (s) 5. Clean pool multiple times a week, clean bottom & side of pool using such aids as an underwater vacuum cleaner, hose, rush, detergent 6. Check filters for mechanical problems & perform cleaning/maintenance 8. Winterize pool facilities, carry furniture & equipment back to the storage room 9. Notify managers concerning the need for repairs 10. Performs all job duties in a safe manner 11. Exposure to elements and chemicals should be expected. Will train on-the-job. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: ? High School Diploma or Equivalent / GED. ? Driver\'s License (U.S. or International). ? MUST BE 18 OR OLDER. ? MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS. ? WORK IN ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS. ? UPON SUSPICION & POST-ACCIDENT DRUG TEST REQUIRED. ? DAILY TRAVEL TO/FROM MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN THE AREA OF INTENDED EMPLOYMENT USING COMPANY-PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION. SCHEDULE: 40hrs p/wk, 8hrs p/day. Monday- Friday, occasionally Saturday and Sunday, HOURS: 9am-5pm. WAGE: \$20.00 p/hr,paidweekly/ O/T varies at \$30.00 p/hr. An overtime premium will be paid at time-and-a-half after 40hrs p/wk in MA. Bonus and extra compensation may be offered at the discretion of the employer. Hours may fluctuate due to business needs or weather. Optional shared housing is available at \$190/wk, deducted from the paycheck. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period HSP will reimburse the worker reasonable costs of transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Cost of return transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early for any reason. The amount of transportation reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts 2. Daily transportation to/from worksites provided; Will reimburse H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government 3. Employer will provide tools, supplies & equipment without charge or deposit charge 4. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12- week period
