The candidate will be assisting New Product Introduction (NPI) logistics operations for Amazon Robotics. This includes partnering with the NPI Logistics Program and Head of Global Logistics to drive daily operations and continuous improvement to world class results through globally consistent processes supporting metrics, performance and incremental process automation. The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems for warehousing and transportation processes.

Key job responsibilities

• Assist business cases for new warehouse distribution and transportation optimization strategies.

• Work across cross functional teams to create the best possible capacity plan for current/future years within Amazon Robotics fulfillment network.

• Provide support and data to create and execute strategic sourcing projects that will support the teams’ development of an end-to-end sourcing/supply chain plan from concept to global deployment.

• Support contract negotiations with external partners, eg. ramp-ups and ramp down of warehouses, transportation cost reduction.

• Drive operational excellence by developing and improving standard operating procedures for NPI Logistics, creating and monitoring KPIs and SLAs.

• Thought leader for cost efficiencies and frugality initiatives.

• Complete total cost of ownership review to ensure project cost are meeting or beating cost objectives.

• Effectively manage and deliver projects within scope, time, budget and quality

• Work to create white papers and planning cycle documents and influence senior leadership.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Boston, MA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
