Sr. Product Marketing Manager

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is accountable for the development and full optimization of marketing programs within Omnicell’s Intelligence Solutions portfolio. This role will function as the go-to-market lead for new and existing customer solutions. Works closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product management to ensure solutions, messaging, programs, and tools are addressing the critical needs of this emerging market. Identifies innovative marketing opportunities and partners cross-functionally to execute.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages to message and value prop across all phases of the product life cycle. Focuses on the creation of marketing content and materials to meet the specific needs of current and/or potential new customers to drive growth.

  • Accountable for marketing messaging, both corporate-focused and product-specific, for prospects, end-user customers, and sales teams.

  • Creates strong positioning, segmentation, and targeting to drive sales and market penetration.

  • Works closely with sales, marketing communications, and product managers to help ensure that product positioning meets the current and/or emerging needs of the specified market segment(s).

  • Ensures the emerging and current markets’ needs are identified and well understood. Develops inalienable proof points to support market claims with meaningful data.

  • Creates and rolls out optimized sales support materials for the target segment(s).

  • Supports sales teams in the development of sales solutions, positioning, and presentations appropriate for specific customers

  • Develops appropriate marketing plans, solution sets, and customer approaches for maximizing sales & margin

  • Collects marketing and customer intelligence, partnering with Marketing Intelligence and customer success to revise/update market positioning Drives marketing strategy, pricing, channel management, bundling, and other promotional activities

  • Participates in the annual strategic and operating plan process representing the target market segment.

  • Creation of content for marketing collateral, articles, website, social media

  • Partners with marketing to activate and update potential social channels, developing and implementing content strategies and analysis of efforts and value gained.

  • Support the development and management of PR including media needs and relationships, partnerships with advisors, and agency management

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced product marketing skills; Proficiency in new product launches

  • Results-oriented, growth-focused

  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and be accountable for results

  • Able to provide subject matter expertise in complex situations

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize to achieve optimal results

  • Superior stakeholder management - Works well with marketing, product development, sales and customers to understand and appropriately respond to market and business needs

  • Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with peers

  • Ability to gain strong field sales solutions positioning buy-in and execution

  • Strong communications and teamwork skills; Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a confident communicator and presenter to both customers and leadership

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.

  • Passion for advancing the care of patients and experience of healthcare professionals

  • Desire to work for the overall success of the company and willingness to go beyond– highly motivated

  • Design skills – Advanced Adobe, PowerPoint skill

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degreewith at least 8 years of experience in a product marketing role within a technology/healthcare/medical sector

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SaaS Product Marketing experience

  • Experience with narrative design

  • MBA / other advanced degrees

  • Healthcare supply chain experience

Work Conditions:

  • Office Environment (remote COVID19)

  • Travel: Approximately 30%
