This experienced, Stock Plan Administration professional role at Thermo Fisher Scientific - a Fortune 100 Company - is essential to successful operation of our global Executive Compensation “Pillars” of services: Executive Movements/Transactions, Stock Plan Administration, HR M&A Support and Compensation Committee matters. This role requires a high level of subject area expertise and experience, professionalism, leadership skills, practical and strategic thinking, advanced problem-solving and analytical orientation.


  • Manage all equity awards releases and exercises end to end, from preparation activities in Fidelity Plan Sponsor equity system thru creating payroll files to global payroll leads

  • Manage the Fidelity relationship and act as the interface between the HR, Legal, Financial Reporting and Tax teams to ensure all reporting, regulatory, and administration needs are met.

  • Lead and direct a team of high-performing, experienced and tenured equity professionals.

  • Maintain data integrity of the equity database, by auditing/reviewing participant location and confirming tax profiles

  • Track and maintain mobile employee profiles up-to-date, and manage the interactions with our mobility service provider to ensure accuracy of mobility sourcing calculations

  • Provide monthly and quarterly share plan reconciliations and distribute equity activity info.

  • Generate reports as needed for audit, tax, and legal/regulatory filing purposes globally

  • Prepare equity practices information for Leadership reporting, Board of Directors meetings as well as proxy statement preparation and reporting.

  • Manage employee inquiries and maintain stellar stakeholder and colleagues service experience

  • Contribute new ideas to help transform processes for scalable and compliant global equity programs

  • Assist in developing equity education training and communication campaigns

  • Ensure legal and tax compliance of LTI programs. Must stay up to date with evolving regulatory requirements involving complex long-term incentive programs.

  • Research and provide technical information on tax, accounting, legal, disclosure and related topics involved with Executive Compensation and Equity Awards practices

  • Provide extensive and detailed analyses and modeling of equity compensation topics

  • Collaborate with teams (Compensation, Rewards and Talent) and stakeholders (Tax, Legal, HRIS, Accounting, etc.)


  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience.

  • 8+ years of work experience in Equity/Stock programs

  • Certified Equity Professional Level 2 (or higher) designation preferred

  • Global mobility experience supporting all major global geographies

  • Strong attention to detail; data driven and analytical approach

  • Ability to multitask in fast paced, global environment

  • Ability to plan and execute work with high level of autonomy

  • Convey strong customer service focus

  • Strong MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and proficient familiarity with additional analytics and reporting software and tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Workday)
