Expected salary range of, 159,000 to 177,000 varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement, is responsible for developing and driving the retail sales enablement strategy in collaboration with their direct supervisor. The enablement strategy encompasses all segments of the C&I sales team and aligns with the organization's overall business goals and sales targets. They will guide and lead the Sales Enablement team in implementing comprehensive product, services, and sales learning solutions for C&I Retail Sales. In addition, the Sr. Manager will participate in projects associated with growth and long-term goals including new product development and technology, and have responsibility for activating technology, including AI, Salesforce and other tools. In person meetings and travel is required.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Retail Enablement Strategy. Lead a team in the design and implementation of sales training programs, sales content creation and management, and the delivery of tools and resources that align with the buyer’s journey and support the sales process. Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve sales performance.

  • Teamwork. Support strategic projects to drive growth and sales excellence and collaborate with Sales Leaders in strategic planning to align sales enablement initiatives with overall sales strategy. Foster a team environment that supports collaboration within the team and across functions to share best practices and inspires creative solutions and process improvements. Encourage the sharing of competitive feedback. Drive a culture of engagement and recognition.

  • Salesforce Product Owner guidance . Oversee Salesforce Product Owner, provide direction on LRP planning, prioritization and alignment of CRM with strategic goals and initiatives

  • Vendor Management and Budget. Manages vendor relationships, contracting process, and supply chain duties. Maintains budget records, keeps expenses within budget and provides recommendations to leadership on optimizing spending power.

  • Sales Technology:. Activate generative AI and leverage advanced sales technology to optimize sales processes and performance.

  • Sales Operations . Oversee sales operations to ensure streamlined processes, accurate data management, and effective sales analytics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 10 years of general business experience

  • Prior experience in enablement or retail energy

  • Ability to formulate and execute campaigns and sales programs.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Experience and contacts in the respective marketplace.

  • Outstanding communication skills and adept at speaking to large groups.

  • The position requires a self-motivated individual willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities and make decisions in a manner consistent with Constellation NewEnergy values.

All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.

Travel required as necessary to meet business needs and in-person attendance for trainings, all-hands meetings, and other moments that matter.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred candidates will also have a knowledge and understanding of the energy industry specifically electric restructuring in regional areas, natural gas sales, and sustainability products.

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and improving high-quality sales skill training programs in a retail sales organization.

  • Proven track record of driving impactful sales relevant initiatives that have resulted in increased revenue and market share.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies, tools, and techniques relevant to the retail power and gas industry.
