Senior Manager, AGI Data Services Operations Capacity Execution & Labor Planning

AGI-DS is hiring a Senior Manager, Capacity Execution & Labor Planning. The successful candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver, who is comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment. We are looking for an exceptional leader who is passionate about the Customer Experience, who thinks/acts globally, and who has the ability to contribute major new innovations in the industry to join us. They will experience a wide range of problem-solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis. The ideal candidate is a leader with demonstrated ability to learn new workflow technologies and make data driven decisions on projects. This opportunity requires excellent problem-solving, communication skills and a strong track record of delivering results. Cross-team collaboration, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential. A strong record of customer advocacy and people development are important for this role.

Key job responsibilities

· Forecast, design and execute the capacity to meticulously fulfill the Customer demand across AGI DS WW Operations Team or through 3rd party vendors.

· Create accurate and reliable labor-plans for business by optimizing between Customer Experience/Service Levels and Cost Effectiveness.

· Develop, improve and optimize work assignment, prioritization logic to manage work from various regions with multiple constraints.

· Mitigate capacity risks by managing dependencies across multiple operating units. Clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track exceptions.

· Participate in wider AGI DS projects and initiatives. They will own providing optimal workforce planning for upcoming initiatives.

· Partner with Operations, Capacity Planning, Quality, PXT, and Finance teams to analyze historical data and work trends and provide workforce inputs. Manage the analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of regional performance via Key Performance Indicators.

· Support local site management to optimize staffing requirements. Manage Service Levels (SL) and provide recommended workflow options and directives to maintain acceptable SL.

· Partner with the engineering team to develop progressive tools and technology enablers that will improve operating performance and efficiency of the AGI DS Operations centers across multiple regions.

· Fully leverage existing technology, including global standardization of reporting.

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in an analytical or business field

• Strong Analytical skills – has ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem

• Exhibits excellent judgment

• 5+ experience as leader of leaders

• 8+ years of experience leading a team in Capacity Planning, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Operations, Manufacturing or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience working with Production Environment Metrics (such as Forecasting, Efficiency, Attendance, Cost-per-units)

• 10+ years of experience with MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Communication skills – Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems through simple means. Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data.

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and ambiguity is the norm.

A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done. Other professional traits that is not unique to this position, but necessary for Amazon leaders:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
