Job Description

The Sales team works closely with Operations and Marketing in the management and development of the business two major accounts and manages daily tasks across a broad range of areas including promotional planning, administration, funding management, planograms (POG) planning and ad hoc analysis. This role provides dedicated account support to our new and upcoming customers and is key to helping the LEGO Group reach more children through channels that have an opportunity to grow under more dedicated focus.

Core Responsibilities

  • Achieve/exceed sales result expectations, develop customer relationships, and increase profits.

  • Develop brand awareness to the customer buying, planning, and marketing functions.

  • Develop and sustain close collaborative interaction with customers’ buying, planning, replenishment, and internal colleagues across many fields, such as marketing, order management, trade marketing, finance, demand planning, customer planning, inventory management, customer development, etc.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing rich and engaging customer business plans that achieve scorecard objectives.

  • Lead and implement overall assortment strategy, driving the planogram planning process. Owning both internal and account stakeholder management, alignment and communication.

  • Work closely with internal teams to manage, report and resolve deduction claims. Maintain accountability for recovering aged claims through negotiation and creating strategy to mitigate future claim exposure.

  • Effectively run trade investments and trade activation planning.

  • Deliver the agreed upon profit contribution in line with the overall company revenue and profit objectives. Management of promotional funding and collaboration with customers on how to best utilize funds while focusing on driving sales in a profitable manner.

This Sr. Manager role is responsible to deliver on customer objectives by managing our end-to-end B2B engagement with 2 unique and challenging customers, responsible for over $100MM in annual revenue. The person in this role will handle multiple business partners in different channels, in a market that requires great agility and flexibility. In addition, Results Orientation (notably on P&L ownership, data-driven decision making and strong planning & operations) and Relationship Elevation (effective negotiation, collaborative planning and increased innovation) are critical to the role.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years related experience in consumer packaged goods

  • 3-5 years of external partner engagement experience

  • High level KAM expertise including strategic negotiation skills, strategic planning, inventory management, and forecasting.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills, and self-motivation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

  • Familiar with agile ways of working to optimize personal and team performance preferred

  • Advanced English both written and verbal

  • Proven versatility, flexibility and an ability to run multiple priorities in a complex and dynamic environment

  • Proven track record of proactively interpreting trends and thinking critically to challenge the status quo

  • High-level of integrity, passion that fits a fast-paced, energetic and collaborative organization

  • Exceeded performance expectations in all previous positions held

  • Domestic travel required – 5%

New Location Update

This position will initially be based at our LEGO office at Boylston St, Back Bay, Boston before moving to a new central Boston office location by the end of 2026. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $135,000 - $202,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
