This position is remote, but candidates will be based the Reston, Wilmington, Washington, DC, Chicago, Baltimore, Boston, Minneapolis, Atlantic City, Short Hills, New York, Philadelphia or Raleigh office.

Relocation is available in accordance with the firm's policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5 years’ experience as a financial analyst or similar role

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and financial software applications

  • Experience with statistical analysis and statistical processes

  • Proficient in Excel (data analysis techniques required), databases, PowerPoint, Word, and financial software applications

  • Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Strong analytical skills required to work with a variety of financial data

Preferred Requirements:

  • Licensed CPA

  • Experience working in a blue chip organization

What will your day look like?

In this role, you will consolidate and analyze statistical and financial data (budgets, revenue, profitability, demand for services, etc.) taking into account the firm’s goals and financial standing. You will develop financial models, conducts benchmarking and processes analysis, assemble and summarizes data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks, and conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develops forecast models. You will track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts, assist in compensation analysis, and identify variances and ensure the maintenance and accuracy of the payroll interface.

You will also play an active role in cash conversion functions and gather and analyze data, develop reports and charts and submit as necessary. You will provide initial assessments, conduct due diligence and assess performance in regard to mergers and acquisitions and lateral hires. You will also assess performance against business plans for partners and prepare final presentations and proposals for leadership meetings.

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $88K - $110K. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
