The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

We're seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Sr Data Analyst to join our team and help us improve our customer and stakeholders experience, as we transform the foundations of our business .

As a Sr Data Analyst, you’ll serve in a leadership and technical role driving strategy, elevating standards, and using your analytical skills to drive impactful decisions. You'll work closely with our team to solve challenges, unlock opportunities, and ensure our clients receive exceptional service as we navigate in-flight transformational projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data-driven insights that illuminate the path to solving complex problems and achieving measurable improvements.

  • Creates and helps implement a data visualization strategy for OptiFreight.

  • Contributes to the development of reporting and analytics consumption patterns from the Data Warehouse.

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the Digital Solutions and OptiFreight teams, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Champion the integration of data science concepts into daily analytic problems across all aspects of our business to discover new insights and capabilities.

  • Serves as the the main point of contact for reporting and analytics requirements gathering and design for other OptiFreight Priority Projects.

  • Build a Data Analytics Pipeline: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent, building a pipeline of future leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred

  • Expert level experience with data visualization and using visual design principles to best communicate information (Tableau)

  • Expertise with cloud-based data querying/manipulation techniques (SQL).

  • Experience with Looker and ERP systems are a plus.

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,900
