Dimeo Construction Company Sr. Business Development Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
The Sr. Business Development Manager Identifies and helps lead the conversion of market sector construction opportunities that align with the new business capture goals of the organization.
Research emergent industries and capital investment requirements and constraints.
Initiates collaborative actions throughout the local and regional owner/client/AE/OPM industry framework that result in the identification and engagement of key decision makers.
Gathers knowledge and consults perspective clients, building relationships required to favorably position and differentiate the organization.
Requirements
Get Work
Fosters client, OPM and AE relationships.
Targets new pursuit efforts that align with organizations strategic plan.
Initiates direct call activities with target organizations and individuals.
Works with Client Executives in developing team pursuit conversion strategies and plans.
Briefs pursuit teams and market executives on pursuit development.
Networks through industry wide forums.
Supports proposal and presentation preparations and attends interviews, as necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to “open doors” with new clients that align with our market sector focuses.
Build Work
Maintains and tracks pursuits.
Updates and utilizes CRM tracking. Proficiency with Unanet is preferred.
Provides strategic insights on pursuit capture.
Crafts narrative inputs as part of sales, proposal, and presentation preparations.
Build People
Coaches associates across organization on client relations.
Provides input on team performance.
Identifies opportunities in community to make impact.
Exhibits leadership engagement regarding organizational initiatives.
Engaging with project teams to develop and enhance presentation messaging and skills.
