Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Sr. Administrative Assistant, Provider Performance and Health Equity in Boston, Massachusetts

This position is eligible in the following personas: Mobile and Resident

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates Network Performance Support Team’s engagement calendar, meetings, schedule, travel arrangements, expense reports, and prepares requisite materials for all external provider meetings and internal cross functional meetings

  • Coordinates Health Equity Team’s calendar, meetings, schedule, travel arrangements, expense reports, and prepares requisite materials for external meetings and internal cross functional meetings

  • Manages the team leaderships calendars, including scheduling and overall management of recurring and ad-hoc 1:1, cross-functional working sessions and meetings, including the preparation and distribution of meeting agenda/materials (print, email, multi-location, video technology as appropriate)

  • Represents BCBSMA, Network Performance Support and Health Equity teams to a wide variety of internal and external constituents via telephone, email and in person

  • Provides administrative support during the annual HEDIS production/submission season which may include but not limited to ordering supplies, contacting provider offices to verify contact information and inquiring for follow-up information

  • Provides a strategic lens to calendar-management by prioritizing requests and providing scheduling options

  • Establishes, and works within, a strong network of associates and leaders to serve as advocates working towards shared goals

  • Evaluates and refers matters for appropriate handling; coordinates, compiles and documents relevant data and background information to support executive decision making or problem resolution

  • Performs a broad range of administrative coordination and support duties requiring extensive communication within and outside the company

  • Serves as the single point of contact for information and critical to the coordination of meetings, reports and events

  • Organizes, tracks, updates and maintains files, and operational data

  • Manages the logistic for large in-person events with multiple external attendees for the Network Performance Support and Health Equity Teams, including responsibility for scheduling, arranging meeting space, providing audiovisual support, materials, and catering

    Qualifications:

  • Highly organized team player with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders with a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated relationship building skills with a wide variety of internal and external constituents

  • Flexibility and willingness to shift priorities, ability to accept feedback and work in a professional manner

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in scheduling virtual meetings in Teams and Zoom with internal and external attendees

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail

  • Maintains confidentiality of a number of key personnel and business issues

    Experience and Education

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of executive level administrative and business experience

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred

Hourly Range: $34.07 - $42.14

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
