Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Sr. Accountant, you will take on a broad range of responsibilities, encompassing the management of grants, the processing of collections, and the performance of month-end closing duties. This position is entirely remote and operates on East Coast hours.

Responsibilities:

• Manage grant programs, processing them on a weekly basis, and direct funds to the appropriate destinations

• Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis, currently using Excel while transitioning to Intacct

• Handle high-volume collections, processing, and posting pages of collections in the system, and transferring funds between banks

• Perform month-end closing tasks, including accruals, reconciliations, and project management

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Sage Intacct. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to manage Journal Entries

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Proficiency in Oracle software

• Experience with SAP software

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct software
