Meta Sourcing Manager, Category Electrical in Boston, Massachusetts
The Commercial Sourcing Manager for the Electrical Critical Infrastructure Category will act as the primary commercial contact within the Meta supply base while developing new sources of supply as required. Sourcing activities include, but are not limited to, identification of product and service availability, and developing and leading negotiation and sourcing strategies. This role will partner with Meta project, engineering, and design teams to develop a business and technology roadmap in support of Meta’s infrastructure goals and objectives while driving strategic sourcing decisions on a global basis.
Sourcing Manager, Category Electrical Responsibilities:
Develop long term sourcing strategies with internal stakeholders to support Meta’s long-range plans.
Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and proactively drive resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, or lead-times.
Own all RFX activities representing Meta’s stakeholders, including RFX development, issuance, bid leveling, recommendation, and award.
Develop strategy and negotiate comprehensive agreements with appropriate business and legal terms to mitigate risk.
Build and maintain TCO models for assigned categories of equipment.
Manage and cultivate supplier relationships focused on continuous performance improvement.
Experience in contract drafting, negotiations, strategy development and execution of complex agreements.
Proven experience successfully influencing stakeholders and business partners.
4+ years of Sourcing Management or Supply Chain Management experience in commercial sourcing roles with experience in Data Center/Energy Sector/Customized Industrial Equipment.
Demonstrated experience improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective based performance measures.
BA/BS in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent years of experience.
Experience with Electrical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment or systems.
Experience with large colocation or hyperscale data center deployments.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree.
