Cognizant ServiceNow Technical Lead/Architect in Boston, Massachusetts

  • Review architectural decisions, architecture solution, re-engineering architectures to meet project requirements. Ability & Experience to define at an architectural (in consultation with Architects) and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with business problems.

  • Provide technical leadership in implementing / maintaining ServiceNow modules ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, Custom applications, TPRM, and Integrations; has strong technical and functional knowledge on these modules and provide technical guidance and mentoring the team

  • Should have good experience handling operations project as a lead and Architect.

  • Drive timely resolution of critical production issues and performance optimization.

  • Good in Communication & presentation skills, Client handling, Operations & delivery management, Risk management

  • Advanced ServiceNow Scripting knowledge

  • Hands-on with ITIL Process implementation.

  • Should be hands-on in working on tickets

  • Lead and mentor the team, ensuring the SLA adherence

  • Identify system monitoring, logging and alerting mechanisms

  • Find opportunities for automation and process optimization for ServiceNow capabilities

  • Collaborate with business and IT partners, drive ServiceNow governance, access controls and best practice adoption

  • Service-now for custom Application Design & Development.

  • Hands-on technical delivery including required documentation of cost-effective Service-now solutions, Ability to create and Modify Workflows.

  • Hands-on migrating data from different tools into ServiceNow.

  • Good at creating required information for Reporting and Dashboards

  • Strong expertise with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS,

  • Effective time management, team handling, and organizational skills Responsibilities

  • Review the work done by team members as per ServiceNow best practices.

  • Develop solutions in ServiceNow, prepare estimates, and work on capability presentation, Proof of Concept

  • Understand functional, technical, and business requirements and then turn those requirements into a successful implementation.

  • Work with End users, troubleshoot and address issues

  • Work with Client SMEs, drive calls and propose solutions

The annual salary for this position is between $164,000 - $193,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
