Location: Boston, USA (Office-based 3-5 Days)

The SEO Specialist is a global role within the go-to-market team. Reporting to our Director of Marketing, you will join our growing team in Boston and will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve our website's organic search rankings, drive targeted traffic, and increase overall online visibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and the latest trends in search engine algorithms. Experience in B2B marketing is highly preferred.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies to improve organic search performance and drive targeted traffic to our website.

  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities and trends in the industry.

  • Optimize website content, including landing pages, blog posts, and product pages, to ensure they are search engine friendly and aligned with target keywords.

  • Perform on-page optimization, including meta tags, header tags, URL structure, internal linking, and image optimization.

  • Implement off-page optimization strategies, such as link building, outreach, and social media engagement.

  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

  • Identify and address technical SEO issues, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, crawl errors, and duplicate content.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO.

  • Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other marketing team members to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.

What makes you a good fit for the role:

  • Ideally having worked in B2B Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of successful SEO campaigns.

  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.

  • Proficiency in using SEO tools and software.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

  • Excellent understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with website content management systems (e.g., Webflow).

  • Understanding of other digital marketing channels, such as PPC, social media, and email marketing.

  • Knowledge of local SEO and strategies for optimizing for local search results.

  • Certification in Google Analytics, or related fields.

  • Experience in B2B marketing is highly preferred.
