The Mixed Reality Customer Success Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated and customer focused Senior Software Engineer who has experience bringing products to market and driving customer and business success.

Responsibilities

  • Compose, integrate, and validate various operation system components to address end-to-end customer scenarios.

  • Work in close partnership with a team of cross discipline peers including hardware, PM, Quality Engineering and Customer Support to drive in market customer success.

  • Monitor system reliability and performance KPIs and investigate and debug to make sure their goals and met.

  • Maintain a focus on enabling customer scenarios across developer, commercial and consumer.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of relevant software design and development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Writing performance critical code in C/C++.

  • Experience in design, coding, and debugging skills.

  • Windows, Linux or Android operation system development.

  • Flexibility to work across the stack, from driver to UX, to address end-to-end customer scenario.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
