Wayfair Senior Product Manager - Supplier Advertising in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><strong>This is an onsite role. Employees are expected to be in our Boston or Toronto office Tuesdays-Thursday, and work remotely Mondays and Fridays.</strong>&nbsp;</p>

Within Global Supplier Technology (GST), the Supplier Advertising team owns the strategy, design, engineering, go to market, and analytics of Wayfair’s Advertising offerings, a key part of Wayfair’s growth trajectory.</p>

<p>As a Senior Product Manager on our Supplier Advertising team, you will own the discovery, definition, and launch of new advertising offerings on this highly visible team. You will partner with user experience design, machine learning, business, and engineering stakeholders across our supplier and shopper experiences. You will launch new advertising offerings and optimize existing experiences to maximize value generated from our advertising portfolio by balancing the needs of our suppliers, customers shopping our site, and the marketplace overall.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>What You'll Do</h3>

<ul>

<li>Leverage a deep understanding of our customers, business strategy, and KPIs to define and drive the vision for advertising offerings and capabilities used by Wayfair suppliers.</li>

<li>Use a combination of user experience and data science to optimize our product portfolio to improve supplier outcomes and maximize value to the Wayfair business.</li>

<li>Own roadmap planning and manage execution with dedicated Engineering, Machine Learning Science, Experience Design, and Analytics teams.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Evolve our strategy as we learn and adjust our business goals, and work cross-functionally to continually improve velocity of insights and experimentation.</li>

<li>Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams across departments, including ad footprint, supplier experience, and ad serving.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Partner with the engineering team to drive timely and smooth execution through sprint rituals like grooming, planning and retrospective.</li>

<li>Influence the evolution of Wayfair's strategy for advertising offerings.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<h3>What You'll Need</h3>

<ul>

<li>5+ years experience in product management.</li>

<li>Experience with advertising is preferred.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Experience leading technical products and cross-functional / cross-org initiatives with deep understanding of business strategy.</li>

<li>Track record of launching new products (0-1) and/or scaling existing products (1-100).</li>

<li>Excellent quantitative skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights and requirements.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations to make key decisions and effectively communicate tradeoffs with engineers and data scientists.</li>

<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Ability to think and act both tactically and strategically.</li>

<li>Ability to work with and influence senior leaders (Director+) across various functional areas.</li>
