Position Purpose:

We are seeking a highly driven Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment efforts for assigned business areas within the Talent Acquisition team. The Senior Manager will be a player-coach and responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent, and building a strong talent pipeline to support the company's growth objectives. They will collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs. This role requires a strategic thinker and a strong people manager with ability to implement a consultative approach to TA processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased productivity. The individual will be expected and encouraged to be creative in all things considered Talent Acquisition (Sourcing, Talent Mapping, Community Engagement, etc). The role requires a deep understanding of progressive talent acquisition best practices and ability to operate in a fast paced environment with conflicting priorities.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, including managing the regional TA team, contractors & RPO support staff members.

  • Drive performance and results and continuous improvement in recruitment processes through data, metrics and KPIs.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives within the assigned region.

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HRBPs to understand their talent needs and provide strategic guidance on sourcing and selection strategies.

  • Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their continuous growth and development.

  • Stay updated on the latest recruitment trends, tools, and technologies, and implement best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values accountability, integrity, respect, diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, provide regular coaching and feedback.

  • Implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality of work.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

  • Evaluate and streamline the recruitment process to enhance efficiency, improve candidate experience, and reduce time-to-fill and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including leveraging social media, job boards, professional networks, and other relevant platforms.

  • Participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment-related activities to promote the company's employer brand and attract potential candidates and represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to establish connections and expand the talent pool.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other applicable field

  • 8 -10 years of corporate recruiting experience and 5 years managing a team, ideally having also experience in recruitment activities in North America.

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and overseeing the work of a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) vendor.

  • Language: Proficient in French is an asset.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing RPO projects from initiation to completion.

  • Proven experience as a Lead, Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.

  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, recruitment strategies, and sourcing techniques.

  • Excellent understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and deliver high-quality results.

  • Proficient in using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline processes and enhance candidate experience.

  • Results-driven mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all recruitment activities.

Considerations:

  • There is one (1) position open and it can be filled in Boston, Paramus, Milwaukee, or Houston.

  • This is a hybrid, not remote, position with three (3) days in office per week.

  • Ability to travel 25 - 30% of your time in North America to hub offices, site visits, internal meetings, and other recruitment-related travel. Site visits will require you to follow all Health & Safety protocols on sites.
