Job Description
The LEGO® Group’s Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Project Portfolio Management to lead and optimize the portfolio of analytical projects across our global organization. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure alignment between strategic business goals and analytics initiatives while driving cross-functional collaboration, resource prioritization, and execution excellence. You will work closely with senior leaders, project teams, and collaborators to establish a scalable framework for project management, track impact, and deliver ground-breaking outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Governance:
Design and implement a project portfolio management (PPM) framework to assess, prioritize, and govern analytics projects.
Partner with senior leadership to ensure portfolio initiatives align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
Develop and monitor key portfolio metrics (e.g., return on investment, resource allocation, timelines, impact measures).
Lead quarterly portfolio reviews to report progress, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the central point of coordination for analytics projects across business functions, geographies, and the hub-and-spoke A&I model.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
Project Management Leadership:
Develop strong methodologies and processes for analytical project execution, ensuring consistency and quality across teams.
Establish tools and templates for efficient project tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
Operational Excellence:
Identify and address challenges within the portfolio to enable smooth execution and delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the A&I organization, incorporating lessons learned into future processes.
Build and maintain a resource allocation model to increase team capacity and impact.

Do you have what it takes?
Demonstrated proficiency in project portfolio management, program management, or related roles, preferably within analytics, data science, or insights organizations
Proven success in managing sophisticated, cross-functional portfolios at scale.
Experience in matrixed organizations and working within hub-and-spoke models is highly desirable.
Deep expertise in portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches).
Exceptional ability to handle competing priorities, ensuring alignment and progress across diverse initiatives.
Strong communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills aimed at engaging senior collaborators.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and project impact objectively.
New Location Update
This position will initially be based at 501 Boylston St or 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124,700 - $187,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
Relocation
There is no budget for domestic or international relocation for this position.
