We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager who has an independent, strong analytical approach along with the ability to cultivate and build strong business relationships in a cross functional team setting. In this role, you will perform financial planning, analysis and modeling, ad hoc financials and proactive idea generation sharing. You will shift fluidly from supporting business decision making to challenging it to help achieve the best outcome. You are comfortable boiling down complex business scenarios into key insights and levers to aid decision making and presenting it to all levels of management.

You will report to the Vice President of Finance and be responsible for leading a team that implements the incentive plans for the US Higher Ed Sales organization and financial planning and analysis work to support budgeting and strategy activities to achieve business goals.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Partner with Sales Operations on the design, budgeting, and implementation of incentive plans for the Higher Ed, For Profit, Professional and Institutional Sales teams

  • Complete the end-to-end process from target setting to calculating incentive payments for our sales organization

  • Prepare the annual operating expense budget for the US Higher Ed Sales organization, track performance throughout the year, and refine and update through monthly forecast cycles

  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses on incentive plan achievement and payout rates

  • Provide business support to the Sales organization to support current and future strategic scenarios, research requests for support as it relates to sales crediting, incentive plan calculations, and impact on budgets

  • Lead and mentor a team of Financial Analysts to deliver on business and professional development goals

  • Focus on continuous improvement to drive operational efficiency and accuracy in the sales incentive process

  • Support Sales Operations and Finance teams through CRM implementation

Skills You Will Need Here:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative fields

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A at Divisional or Corporate entity; prior experience leading sales incentives is a plus

  • High comfort level with financially sound, fact-based, data-driven approach in support of or advising all levels of business management

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint; proficiency in Tableau, Power-Pivot and Salesforce a plus

  • Experience in quantitative modeling, data mining and data analytics a plus

  • Strong Accounting background with understanding of GAAP and Compliance standards

  • Proven effectiveness in highly matrixed organization and flexibility in operating across the org

  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal skills to help build consensus

  • MBA preferred

  • Availability to travel (up to 15%)
