What You'll Do at Pega:

​​As a Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst, you will collaborate with key leaders across Pega to quantify the indicators that align with organizational goals. You'll have a comprehensive data warehouse available to you curated by our partner team of data scientists and will play a role in engineering data solutions for our as-a-Service business. You will use the industry leading Power BI platform to unleash your creativity to visualize stories through data that lead to concise actionable outcomes and key performance indicators. Your data engineering and insights will influence Cloud strategy decisions in the rapidly evolving Pega As a Service organization including initiatives focused on Cloud capacity planning, service lifecycle, cost analysis, telemetry metrics, and more.​

You will:

• ​​Gather requirements of business intelligence needs that measure status of client, environment, and service delivery objectives

• ​You will be obsessed with collection and analysis of business metrics and communicate your analysis and findings on a regular basis identifying and improving both how data is created and collected in the context of Cloud business processes while keeping focus on what those processes and data are intended to deliver.

• ​Partner and work closely with teams across the Pega‘s Engineering, Operations, and Finance departments to meet objectives

• ​Rigorously test and validate quality and completeness of data across multiple source systems

• ​Extract and cleanse source data into proper data formats using SQL and other technologies.

• ​Engineer multi-dimensional data models using SQL and create dynamic calculations in Power BI

• ​Curate reports and dashboards in Power BI (or Excel when appropriate) that are concise and relevant for the intended audience

• ​Document solutions and definitions to enable stakeholder consumption

• ​Identify opportunities for self-service business intelligence

• ​Engage in sharing best-practices across the team​

What You've Accomplished:

• 5-7 years of related experience such as Business Operations Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Data Visualization, Business Analysis

• BA/BS degree in Engineering / Business/ Finance/ Economics or similar

• Experience building databases, data warehouse, data lakes, etc. using industry leading technologies (e.g. SQL)

• Experience utilizing BI tools for Business Analysis and Data Visualization in an as-a-Service organization (preferred).

• Experience planning and managing projects

• Proven experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders including technical leads, Product Owners and upper management
