The Experience Center is transforming Humana into a human-centered, tech-driven company. We are accomplishing this by developing experience-first healthcare software rapidly, flexibly and iteratively. We are a technology incubator for the company and are expanding our capabilities by integrating Data and Analytics into our balanced team model. Business Intelligence Professional will work alongside product managers, designers, data scientists and software engineers to quantify the human experience of our technology enabled experiences.

The Business Intelligence Professional collects data from disparate sources, develop insights, create dashboards, prepare visualizations and present findings that will be used to identify operational gaps.

Solves complex business problems and issues to provide insights to product teams and stakeholders. Describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information.

The Business Intelligence Professional uses tools, technologies, applications and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, visualize, and communicate insightful and actionable business information from internal and external data. Advises product team and stakeholders to develop functional strategies on matters of significance spanning product design, sales & marketing, user experience, product performance and clinical outcomes.

  • Collaborate by working directly with product, design, engineering and business stakeholders and their teams to derive data insights and make data-driven improvements

  • Generate ideas to shape future analytical projects and initiatives.

  • Develop online dashboards and interactive reports to regularly communicate results

Required Qualifications

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • You have a bias towards learning and constant iteration.

  • Experience manipulating data sets through software (SQL, Python, SAS, or R)

  • Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs

  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations

  • Ability to travel as-needed to meet with team members (typically less than 5% travel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in creating reports, projections, models, and presentations to support decisions

  • Experience working with, or desire to work with, healthcare or operational related data

  • Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
