Wayfair Senior Analyst - Email Marketing in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><strong>This is a hybrid position with M-Th in office and remote on Fridays.&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Senior Analyst, WFUS Email Marketing&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>The Customer Communications team is responsible for all email, app push, and SMS communications between Wayfair and our customers. This role will sit on the Email team and work on the performance and improvement of our email campaigns.&nbsp; The Senior Analyst in this role will execute on performance analysis and testing of all of our daily emails, including gathering data-driven insights, optimizing channel testing, serving as our data subject matter expert for this lane. The analyst will also execute on the improvement roadmap for this lane, including rigorous testing on content and new design look and feel.&nbsp; If you have a passion for testing and learning, are interested in data-driven marketing, like structuring and answering ambiguous problems, enjoy getting your hands dirty in large datasets, then this is the role for you!</p>

<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Own a multi-million dollar marketing channel, managing complex cross-functional partnerships and mining customer data to uncover insights that drive incremental customer lifetime value</li>

<li>Own and drive the channel roadmap - identifying, sizing, and continuously testing on the millions of emails we send every week and pursuing new opportunities for channel growth</li>

<li>Develop new ideas for platform innovation, and partner with engineering and product teams to prioritize and build new capabilities</li>

<li>Leverage deep analytics to root cause trends and develop strategic, data driven solutions to complex business problems.</li>

<li>Partner closely with creative and content teams to build a library of high-performing marketing assets that bring our customers back to site</li>

<li>Performance reporting: a) Standardize channel metrics and create scalable dashboards, b) prepare performance analyses and draft narratives, and c) field performance-related questions</li>

<p><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences, Economics, Business, or other concentrations with a quantitative focus</li>

<li>4+ years of experience ideally in a data-heavy role or in marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, finance, and/or strategy fields</li>

<li>Proven record of high performance/achievement and driving impact; able to pivot quickly and deliver against daring targets &amp; goals in a fast and rapidly evolving environment</li>

<li>Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset; a desire for creative problem solving</li>

<li>Persuasive and articulate with excellent relationship-building skills; able to communicate complex ideas effectively</li>

<li>Proficiency in data analysis and advanced SQL knowledge and Google Sheets/Excel usage; excitement about finding patterns in data; knowledge of Python is a plus</li>

<li>Excellent critical thinking and verbal and written communication skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior level and cross-functional stakeholders</li>

<li>Ability to independently own and execute on solutions to complex problems</li>

<li>Ability to handle multiple priorities, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>

<li>A desire to win as a team - collaborative team player who wants to see themselves and others succeed and thrive</li>
